Singh’s Kitchen is a nice place in downtown Libertyville with a good ambiance and a modern Indian food concept. We went mainly for the build-your-own Indian bowls, where you can choose the rice, protein, curry, and toppings you want. The bowls tasted good, and I liked that we could customize everything based on what we wanted. We also ordered the wings, but honestly they were not good and we didn’t really enjoy them. The bowls were definitely much better than the wings. Overall, the ambiance was nice and the build-your-own bowl concept was good. I would come back for the bowls, but I would probably skip the wings next time.

I visited Singh’s Kitchen today and ordered Chicken Malai Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, and Indo-Chinese Chicken Manchurian. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor and tasted quite bland. The Chicken Malai Tikka was dry and didn’t have the rich, creamy taste I expected. The Chicken Tikka Masala was also under-seasoned, and the Manchurian lacked the bold Indo-Chinese flavors that usually make the dish enjoyable. Even the naan was just average. I was really looking forward to the meal based on the menu, but overall the food felt tasteless and not worth the price.

Surprised to see good ratings. I believe this restaurant will run out of business very soon. Firstly food is terrible, tandoori non veg platter was trash, so dry and no taste. A person who doesn’t know cooking can make better, you can imagine what I tasted here. Moreover green chutney was sweet. Butter chicken gravy was tomato soup and literally a dessert. Their chef needs an applause really. Secondly, with only 3 tables occupied we were told to wait 45 minutes. It was because they don’t have staff to serve more than 3-4 tables. Then they didn’t have items that are shown in their photo advertisement, no pani puri, no desserts, no beer or whiskey/scotch. Papdi chaat was a shame. Only spicy fries were good. Staff was courteous but slow and needed reminders. Rates are too high. Avoid this place for all reasons.

This was one of the best (if not the best) Indian restaurants I’ve been to - and I’ve been to quite a lot. I’m always a little skeptical with fusion places but this place was amazing. The spicy steak flatbread was great - i wouldn’t do as an appetizer though, it’s basically a full meal (for me) and i was full after that haha. I then had a lamb tikka masala. My go-to is always a goat curry but i saw that the tikka was a Singh signature sauce so I wanted to give it a try. I’ve never been a fan of tikka masala (it’s technically not Indian) and I’m definitely more a traditional curry guy if you will. I’ve also tried tikka masala many times as I always think maybe someone can change my mind. Let me say, Singhs Kitchen has done that. This curry gave me full flavor and the lamb was insanely cooked to perfection. I rarely write a review like this but this place was amazing. I will be back and will try the goat next time. Thank you for the amazing experience, I will be back and will be telling everyone about this place!

This place is amazing. We went on sunday at around noonish and the place was empty, which was nice because we didn't have to wait to get seated. I can imagine it being packed on a Friday or Saturday night. The place was nice and clean and the service was great. We ordered the Bollywood Burger, the Khati Roll, Buttered Chicken, and the loaded fries. All items were delicious and the portions were huge. We can't wait to come back and try more off their menu. Very highly recommended.
